Mallory just scored 20 points in her first game! We won 26-4 and Mallory could not be stopped! I had to ask her to stop stealing the ball - which made her mad!
Macy's team moved up to play against 5th & 6th graders since we won all the games in the 3rd & 4th division last year. The team we played today was all 6th grade - we are 3rd & 4th - and we fought hard but lost 30-28. We were down 30-21 with 2 minutes to go and went on a terror. Macy had a couple of steals and we cut it to 30-28 with 13 seconds to go. They took 10 seconds to cross the line and we stole it right away and got fouled as time expired. We missed both free throws, but it was close... and exciting. They were much taller, but we were faster! If we had 30 more seconds we would have won. Great game.
